Money Heist (originally known as La Casa de Papel) season four is getting closer with rumours circling around the latest series of the hit Netflix crime drama. The show is eagerly awaited by fans of the hit Spanish crime drama after the massive cliffhanger that part three ended on.

Now, with rumors that the team has already finished filming the series, here’s everything you need to know about La Casa de Papel season four.

HERE’S EVERYTHING THE WRITER REVEALED ABOUT THE NEW SERIES!

Now, the show creator has confirmed that La Casa de Papel will be returning for another series on the streaming platform.

Álex Pina said the story of the cast of characters is not yet over so they will be coming back again for series four.

According to Spanish publication elPeriódico, the creator made the announcement at a press conference back in June.

He said: “They’re a group of people who still have a lot to say. It took us quite a long time to decide, we wanted to respect our work.

“The success of the series around the world has been so crazy.”

Season one of the hit show was released on Netflix in May, 2017 with series two appearing soon after in October, 2017.

Fans were then made to wait until July, 2019 for the third season of the show to be released.

There are reports that filming for Money Heist season four is actually already winding up.

Posting on Instagram actor Esther Acebo, who is better known as Mónica Gaztambide, posted that filming had finished

She wrote: “It’s official, I’ve finished filming Season 4 of Money Heist.

“Last day of filming. I raise a glass to your health, to that of the team, and to all of you who watch us around the world.”

This means that La Casa de Papel could be with viewers sooner than they think.

Netflix has not yet officially confirmed the renewal of the show, but it is expected to come in the next few months.

There’s no news about when a potential fourth series of the show could make it to our screens.

The returning cast for season four has not yet been announced, but it is expected many of the major characters will be coming back.

This includes Álvaro Morte as El Professor, Úrsula Corberó as Tokyo and Esther Acebo as Mónica Gaztambide.

While we don’t know when the latest series will return, viewers will be able to watch it on Netflix.

The show was originally produced for Spanish network Antena 3, but has aired on the platform exclusively since series two.

In the meantime, viewers will have to content themselves with watching parts one to three of the Spanish heist drama.

Money Heist season 3 is streaming from July 19 on Netflix.
