Anchorperson Mubashir Lucman sought legal action against the federal minister for science and technology Fawad Chaudhry over the allegation of attacking him and filed an application in Lahore’s Model Town police station.
While complaining against the conduct of the federal minister, Mubashir Lucman wrote in the application that Chaudhry and his guards pushed him and subjected him to torture at the wedding of Punjab minister Mohsin Leghari’s son.
Lucman has alleged that he was subject to harassment and asked the police to take legal action against the federal minister’s conduct.
The police confirmed that they have received the request stating that the matter will be handled legally.
Lucman’sYouTube show aired controversies against Fawad Chaudhry alleging that the minister has a clandestine relationship with the TikTok star.
The minister had reportedly reacted to the allegation and later confronted and slapped the anchorperson at the wedding.
The incident was also confirmed by Fawad Chaudhry in his tweet on Sunday after he re-tweeted the news story accompanied by some choice remarks for Luqman. He also questioned Mubashir Lucman’s journalistic credentials.
Lucman also told the police that PTI leaders Jahangir Tareen and Ishaq Khakwani helped resolve the matter between the two on the event.
