New Zealand reports first locally transmitted COVID-19 case after 102 days

Coronavirus returned to New Zealand for the first time in 102 days as the country reported four new cases of the virus on Tuesday.

Jacinda Ardern said four cases had been detected in a single-family in Auckland from an unknown source.

“After 102 days, we have our first cases of COVID-19 outside of managed isolation or quarantine facilities… While we have all worked incredibly hard to prevent this scenario, we have also planned and prepared for it,” she said.

New Zealand was the first country who got free from Covid19. But it looks like they now have to be more careful after knowing about the new cases.
