Pakistan strongly condemned a missile attack by Houthi rebels on a civilian airport in southern Saudi Arabia that wounded at least 26 people on Wednesday.
“Pakistan reiterates its full support and solidarity with the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia against any threats to its security and territorial integrity,” said a Foreign Office statement.
The Saudi-led military coalition has vowed to respond firmly to the attack at the Abha airport.
A coalition statement said a projectile hit the arrivals hall at airport, causing material damage. Three women and two children were among the wounded, who were of Saudi, Yemeni and Indian nationalities, it said.
