Pakistan hopes that the Kashmir Hour will create a deep impact on the world.

Today, on August 30, the whole nation gathered to observe Kashmir Hour to show solidarity with the Kashmiris and express commitment that Pakistan stands with them in their dark times.

Millions of Pakistanis, following the appeal of PM Imran Khan, came out on the streets of Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad waving flags of Kashmir along with Pakistan’s.

Pakistani celebrities, school-going children and members of civil society were also seen protesting for the Kashmiri people. The protests thus went peacefully throughout the country.

Influence of Kashmir Hour on the world

Peaceful protests are always more effective than the worst oppression and violence. Murders, aggression, and curfews only promote war that India needs to understand.

Today’s Kashmir Hour has created a world-wide impact that the entire nation stands for Kashmir and that it can go to any lengths to fight for their brothers and sisters in the IoK.

Furthermore, the peaceful Kashmir Hour has proven the fact, that Pakistan is a country that does not aim to war and is a peace-loving nation. At the same time, it demands peace for the Indian occupied Kashmir too.

On the other hand, the brutalities caused by Indian army in Kashmir are quite evident in the eyes of the world which exhibit nothing but India’s interest in disrupting the peace of the world.

India is currently terrified by the unity of Muslims and is guilty as well, which is why it has banned media coverage in IoK, whether it’s BBC, CNN or any Pakistani media channel.

However, Pakistan wants the entire world to look upon this issue and help free Kashmir from the atrocities of the Indian army.

Hopefully, the UN will bring this issue into the limelight and the Kashmiris will get their rights. The Kashmir Hour also showcased, that non-violent protests have a stronger tendency to lasting peace later on.
