Pakistan to observe Defence Day as ‘Kashmir Solidarity Day’

The 6th of September in Pakistan is celebrated as Defence Day in order to pay tribute to those soldiers who through their hardships and determination sacrificed for this nation that marks the year 1965. These sacrifices and contributions by our armed or military forces are observed and respected on this day that is honored by the name of Defence Day.

These celebrations are done annually to remember the martyrs of Pakistan of the 1965 war.

This year the Government of Pakistan has declared to commemorate 6th September as Kashmir Solidarity Day. For this, they have encouraged the nationals to stand with Kashmir and support with devotion. Moreover, it was announced that that on Friday all the firms, offices and school will remain closed till 3:00 pm in order to mark the day to show solidarity and support with Kashmir.

The young Pakistani’s are encouraged and inspiration is given to them to join hands and stand in solidarity with Kashmir and the martyrs of the nation this Defence Day. Awareness among the people and witnessing them being encouraged and motivated would serve as a really strong and positive outcome.
