Pakistan to host 48th meeting of the OIC

Pakistan will host the 48th meeting of the OIC Conference of Foreign Ministers (CFM) from March 22 to 23 this year.

In this event Pakistan will talk about the purpose of OIC, on how Muslim countries can come on the same page and address problems faced by them.

OIC works towards eliminating real issues from the Muslim countries. It has also work towards combating Islamophobia, Covid pandemic & poverty.

Apart from this, Pakistan in the near future should take leads in areas of science & technology. It already addresses a number of problems but given its commendable achievements in nuclear technology & impressive operation of civil nuclear facilities.

Pakistan is placed in a position where it is training & educating OIC member states in the peaceful uses of nuclear technology in areas such as power generation, medicine and agriculture. This could be one of the areas that Pakistan should promote in the forthcoming 48th CFM.
