Pakistani Ambassador in Germany Dr Mohammad Faisal stated on Wednesday, 23rd December’2020, that unidentified assailants murdered a Pakistani citizen identified as Shahid Nawaz in Stuttgart.
He took to twitter and stated that the tragic incident took place on Monday and police have been investigating the case and a vigorous search for the assailants is underway.

26-year-old Nawaz, from Punjab’s Gujrat city, was a deputy Imam at a Stuttgart mosque.
Stuttgart police reported that Nawaz and his wife were attacked by unidentified men with a metal object when they visited river Fils.
According to police, emergency services rushed to the crime scene, however, Nawaz died on scene while his wife lost consciousness upon sustaining a severe blow to her cranium.
The police immediately launched a manhunt to apprehend the culprits, which involves the commission of a special police squad but an arrest is yet to be made.

Dr Faisal said that he has asked Consul General Frankfurt to Stuttgart to meet with the family and ensure all possible assistance is provided to the grieving family.
