BEIJING: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday arrived in China on a four-day official visit to attend the second Belt and Road Forum.
PM Imran Khan would deliver a keynote speech in the opening ceremony of the Belt and Road Forum on April 26.
Upon arrival, PM Imran Khan was warmly welcomed at the airport by Deputy Secretary of Beijing Municipal Committee of Committee of Peoples Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Mr. Li Lifeng, Pakistan’s ambassador to China Masood Khan, Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan H.E. Mr. Yao Jing and other high-officials.
Advisor to PM on Finance Abdul Hafeez Shaikh, Minister for Railways Shaikh Rasheed, Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda were also accompanied by the prime minister.
PM Khan stated the Pak-China relations were cemented in a mutual trust.
