The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan has postponed his visit to Karachi, which was scheduled for today, August 12.
During his visit to Karachi the Prime Minister was scheduled to a series of meet and greets with the Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah while also reviewing a plantation drive in the province.
He was also scheduled to meet with members of the business community to have a detailed discussion regarding the problems faced by the business sector during this difficult time and to formulate a plan to resolve said issues.
not only this, he was also said to have planned a meeting with ABAD (Association of Builders & Developers of Pakistan) to discuss the construction of affordable housing in the city of Karachi.
He will instead be visiting Peshawar to inaugurate one of the key projects of the PTI government in KPK, namely the BRT Peshawar Project, on August 13th, 2020.
Granted, we are sure the Prime Minister has better knowledge of how to prioritize matters, but maybe this trip should not have been postponed, seeing as the issues that were meant to be discussed are very crucial for our economy, indeed.
