As the Sindh culture day 2020 approached Polly by Popular group launched its annual campaign.
This time Polly owning its audience gave a beautiful melodious song titled ‘Pehenjo Polly Pehenji Sindh’, a song more about the culture than the brand, in short a text book campaign.
Sung and composed by acclaimed singer and lyricist Shuja Haider, the original song is both an audio and visual treat, the lyrics praised the vibrant Sindhi culture, language hospitality and traditions while the video wonderfully captured the celebrations, festivities and above the craftsmanship of Sindhi Topi and Ajrak.
The song instantly became a hit and is trending for days on various social media platforms scoring millions of views within 2 days of its launch, it was also acclaimed by Pakistan’s renowned vlogger Irfan Junejo.
It would be correct to say that Polly like its slogan ‘Sip of Zindagi’ this time gave Pakistanis a ‘Sip of Sindhi Culture’ as a gift.
