Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Sanju, the biopic of actor Sanjay Dutt, has crossed Rs 300-crore in the domestic market and is continuing to mint money at the box office. The film became the highest first day grosser of 2018, leaving behind Salman Khan’s Race 3. Ranbir was appreciated for his performance in the film as Sanjay Dutt. Now, according to reports, Ranbir has hiked the fee for his brand endorsements.
After the great success of his project Sanju, Ranbir has almost doubled his remuneration in the brand space. While none of his failures deterred his brand value, his latest hit has only bettered it. His team is clear about what he endorses. Within the next few months, he is likely to shoot for several new commercials.
According to reports Ranbir charges between Rs 3 crore to Rs 3.5 crore for a day’s work on commercials, which would increase his new quote to at least Rs 6 crore per day. The actor currently endorses brands such as Asian Paints, Pepsi, Panasonic, Renault, Flipkart, Macroman, Saavn, and Hero MotoCorp.
Before Sanju, which has made over Rs 500 crore worldwide, Ranbir had starred in 2016’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. He will reunite with Wake Up Sid director Ayan Mukerji next on Brahmastra, which also stars his girlfriend Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan. He is also doing Yash Raj’s Shamshera
On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor is currently in Bulgaria shooting for Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, South star Nagarjuna and TV actors Mouni Roy. Brahmastra, the film is a trilogy and it will take at least 10 years to complete the same. The film is being produced by Karan Johar and the first part is slated to release next year.
