Gun violence is growing like a plague in the West. Recently, 50 lives were lost in the Christchurch Mosque attacks in New Zealand. And now its Los Angeles turn. Although the shooting did not result in major causalities, two people were injured and one killed during the attack that took place in LA in the Hyde Park neighborhood on Sunday, 31st March, 2019.
Every life lost is sad and this time, it was the famous rapper Nispsey Hussle who was killed during the shooting.
Ermias Davidson Asghedom, known professionally as Nipsey Hussle, was an American rapper and songwriter from Los Angeles, California
Two others were also injured in the shooting that occurred near the rapper’s store in Hyde Park, LA.
Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti also confirmed in a tweet that the rapper had been killed.
“Our hearts are with the loved ones of Nipsey Hussle and everyone touched by this awful tragedy,” the mayor tweeted.
“L.A. is hurt deeply each time a young life is lost to senseless gun violence,”
