Eid ul Adha or Eid ul Azha often known as “Badi Eid” in Urdu, is celebrated to honor the willingness of Hazrat Ibrahim A.S to sacrifice his son Ismail in the act of obedience and respect and love towards Allah command. But Allah provided Lamb in replacement of Hazrat Ibrahim A.S son Ismail for the sacrifice. This is an Islamic festival which is celebrated every year in the month of Zil Hajj, by the end of Hajj. The pilgrims of Makkah perform sacrifice on the 10th of Zil Hajj. Muslims all around the world celebrate this Islamic festival known as Eid ul Adha. Its mandatory for Muslims who can afford to sacrifice cows, camels, goats, sheep’s any of them on this precious Islamic Festival to honour Hazrat Ibrahim A.S act of obedience for Allah.
The rituals of this festivity starts a month back quite earlier for Muslims. Muslims around the globe have to do good deeds, perform Islamic act of kindness, give Zakat, perform Hajj, do charity, offer namaz, pray as much as one can to praise Allah. Muslims save up money to buy animal for the sacrifice and other basic necessities related to it. Muslims buy new clothes, shoes and jewelry for this Eid.
