Salman Khan has been the centre of several court cases and sentences in the past. While several verdicts remain pending, Salman seems to have fallen into yet another fix after his cycling stint in suburban Mumbai.
Salman Khan was spotted in the city with his bodyguards, cycling around DN Nagar in suburban Mumbai when an onlooker seated in a car started to film the actor on his phone. Salman seemed to not have liked the fan’s actions and angrily snatched away his phone from his hand. After the incident, the man filed a complaint in the DN Nagar police station about the incident.
The complaint was filed by a journalist named Ashok Shyamlal Pandey. Mr Pandey said he and his cameraman were travelling from Juhu to Kandivali when they saw Salman riding a bicycle. They asked his bodyguard if they could make a video of the actor and he agreed.
“We took out our mobile phones and started shooting. Suddenly, Salman turned around and gestured to his bodyguards. After that bodyguards riding motorcycles approached us. My cameraman was pushed by one of the guards and he even pushed our car with force. We ended up having an argument with them. Salman turned his cycle and came to us. We told him we were from the press. Salman said ‘It doesn’t matter’. Then he snatched our mobile phones and left.”
While the journalists were dialing 100, Salman Khan’s bodyguards returned their phone following up the case; Salman’s bodyguard reported that the man was taking the video without Salman’s consent which the superstar did not like. The case is still under jurisdiction with no other official statement released.
