On Saturday, Netflix declared that they are going to make a film El Camino: a breaking bad movie starring Aaron Paul. They provided very few details regarding the film.
As the breaking bad series ended in 2013, we saw Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) being rescued from Aryan Brotherhood gang. That was very last we saw of him. But he is coming back to the screen to continue his adventure of breaking bad after six years in the movie El Camino.
This movie El Camino: a breaking bad movie is directed by Vince Gilligan, who also created the popular series “Breaking Bad”.
The film will release on october 11 on Netflix and it is also dated to broadcast on AMC later.
Paul said in an interview, “It’s a chapter of ‘Breaking Bad’ that I didn’t realize that I wanted. And now that I have it, I’m so happy that it’s there.”
He also said that he is not allowed to reveal any information regarding the film.
As Netflix disclosed very little about the plot summary, it will focus on life of Jesse Pinkman right after where the series has ended and he was rescued by his drug kingpin Walter White who sacrificed his own life for Jesse.
Apart from Aaron Paul, no other cast member has been established yet but in the teaser for El Camino, an old friend of Jesse is seemed to be in the questioning regarding him.
The film El Camino is a thriller. Netflix stated, “In the wake of his dramatic escape from captivity, Jesse must come to terms with his past in order to forge some kind of future.”
