As the tensions are at peak between the India and Pakistan due to Kashmir, releasing a series containing a sensitive matter is not something people will praise.
Hence, audience was outraged as they expressed their criticism against the Bollywood star.
Am I allowed to snigger a little at SRK fangirls and boys who were propping him up as the ideal silent bystander on Kashmir? If his utterly trashy film choices hadn’t woken you up yet to the fact that he only cares about big money & commercial success, then perhaps this will. https://t.co/YLpcNRcAli

The people criticizing the Netflix series was praising Mehwish Hayat’s speech on Islamophobia.
#BardOfBlood is exactly what @MehwishHayat has been talking about recently. It’s a shame that it’s coming from someone like SRK and Emraan Hashmi. When will we stop stereotyping Muslims?

Moreover, Mansha Pasha also revealed her disappointment and outrage on this matter.
Can india find some storylines that dont show Pakistan in their “rescue missions”.
How about some rescue missions for Kashmiris in kashmir? #KashmirStillUnderCurfew https://t.co/TCBcxwmIkn— manshapasha (@manshapasha) August 22, 2019
Further, Haroon Rashid has something to say as well.
A country whose majority of movies depict Muslims as terrorists – another feather in their cap? Cashing in on typical stereo types, sorry to say https://t.co/gjXQwmvBOL

Above all, at this time and era, Indians need to stop demeaning and portraying Muslims in a bad way.
What is with bollywood’s obsession with making propaganda movies against Pakistan. Aren’t they tired of the same old narrative? Isn’t it about time to stop spewing hatred using your media. Bollywood’s been cancelled https://t.co/zWC7uZTnSD

@netflix it’s 2019 and I think you should get rid of the racist, hate-mongering and stereotyping content. Pakistan is not what it is being shown.

Producer Khan, lead Hashmi, wroter Siddiqi.
As panic & fear has taken over Indian Muslims with Kashmir lockdown & NRC in Assam, Bollywood Muslims are busy making jingoistic content. https://t.co/KJ9pRNp2If

This platform is of great importance. It has an influence on a lot of people. Certainly, it can be used for making films and tv shows with admirable ideas and concepts.
Instead of dividing people with pessimistic themes, they can reunite them with the pleasing subject.
