Supermarkets in Asia are putting as stop to the use of Plastic Bags

The sudden climate change is due to the pollution caused by its own living beings. From using plastic to dumping our waste into the seas are the one of the causes our ecosystem is dying and facing such harsh conditions.

Countries like Vietnam and Thailand are leading the fight against by taking small steps, by the single use plastics and doing away with plastic bags altogether and replacing them with banana leaves.

As we all know by now, it is of vital importance to the planet that we stop using so much  plastic all the time. First off, it’s poisoning our whole ecosystem. Whales are washing up dead, due to dump-age of plastic in the seas.

While here in our country instead of promoting paper bags and clothing bags, we are charging money for them, instead we should charge money for plastic bags use so people could stop using them in marts, shops and stores.

In other countries it is taking off as well. South Korea recently banned single use plastic bags and packaging. That means, instead of the small charge that got in, shops need to provide an alternative, whether that is a recyclable container, a non-plastic bag.

The biggest change of all, however, is China, which has banned the use of super thin plastic bags since 2008. Since then, the use of plastic bags has dropped 66 percent and they’ve kept more than 40 billion bags out of the ocean.

Taiwan has started charging, and Singapore is running campaigns to get people to stop. It is peak time we start doing the same and giving our side of will by making ecosystem better.
