Taylor Swift’s new song hints that she’s engaged!

Folks, a new Taylor Swift album is upon us.

Which means whether you love her or hate her, the singer will be everywhere in the coming weeks.

This time around, Tay is planning a full-blown media assault, teaming with corporations ranging from Capital One to UPS (her “official delivery partner”) to make sure her new music gets all up in your ear canals.

She’s stopping just short of that creepy thing U2 tried where their album just appeared on your phone without warning.

Fans have already noticed that the lyrics to “Lover” seem to reference Swift’s relationship with Joe Alwyn.

In fact, many believe the song hints that Taylor and Joe are engaged.

“My heart’s been borrowed and yours has been blue,” Swift croons at one point.

But while the lyrics seem to be 100 percent dedicated to Tay’s British beau – “I’ve loved you three summers now, honey / But I want them all,” Swift sings, seemingly confirming that she’s been with Alwyn for three years – the video was influenced largely by an earlier stage in her career.

Interestingly, the concept for the clip was inspired by a lyric from the song “You Are in Love” from her 1989 album.

“And so it goes / You two are dancing in a snow globe ’round and ’round”

Swift’s co-star in the video is a backup dancer named Christian Owens, who Swift first met when he worked with her on her Reputation tour.

“The leading man in this video is someone I have performed on stage with for years,” said Taylor during a recent YouTube Live session.

“[He was the] leading man in the ‘King of My Heart’ performance every night on the reputation tour. Every night I could see how expressive he is and just how heroic and what an amazing actor he is as well.”

But for fans, who were hoping Taylor would co-star with Joe in the video, fear not:

The whole album seems to be based on dude – we’re sure he’ll get a chance in front of the camera.
