The 29-episode drama serial Parizaad, written by Hashim Nadeem and directed by Shahzad Kashmiri for HUM TV (MD Productions), was indeed one of the most hit show of the year. Played spectacularly by Ahmed Ali Akbar, Parizaad was the simple story of a man weighed down by a debilitating inferiority complex and it navigated through his life, his trials and tribulations.
Urwa Hocane appeared on PTV Home’s Ramadan transmission, presented by Ahsan Khan, and shared some insights behind-the-scenes details regarding the shooting of Parizaad.
Urwa revealed that “Parizaad was shot in Ramadan last year, and the cast and crew enjoyed observing fasts and taking Iftar together. Shoots are good during Ramadan as work keeps you busy and you do not focus on the fact that you are not eating and drinking. “
Talking about the Ramadan routine, Urwa expressed that she enjoys shoots during Ramadan as work keeps one busy. Further, she stated that one should be adjusting the work along with fasting and that is true spirit of the holy month.
