Mohamed Salah believes Liverpool must not take Newcastle United for granted this weekend.
The Reds currently sit top of the Premier League after four games and have continued to impress this season, winning all of their opening games.
On the flip side, Newcastle are currently 14th in the table, after only one win and one draw so far in 2019/20.
Liverpool will come into the Saturday lunchtime clash as clear favourites, but they can’t afford to underestimate the Magpies, who have already beaten Tottenham in recent weeks.
Salah is wary of Steve Bruce’s side, telling the Liverpool Echo that they could cause the Reds a serious problem this weekend:
Newcastle is always tough home or away, the way they play. They have a good team and good players and a good coach. We just need to focus on ourselves and do our job.
Salah has continued his goalscoring form from last season and will look to bag a few more to help his team to victory against the Magpies.

The Egyptian is absolutely right in what he says about Saturday’s fixture.
Liverpool can’t afford to slip up so early in the season, as they bid to win the Premier League title and beat a dominant Man City side in the process.
Newcastle do have the potential to go to Anfield and cause a big upset, especially considering Bruce’s notoriously good record against the Reds.
Although Liverpool should win comfortably, they must not rest on their laurels and produce a ruthless showing that ends with them making it five wins out of five in the league.
