Women’s empowerment means promoting self worth and the ability to understand their own choices and their rights for a social change for themselves and others as well.
Women’s asking for their rights is not something different from their religion or culture, Women are not given rights because people are following the culture they have been following from a long time which is not right. Women should be treated equally as they can do anything a man can do and is more powerful than a man in terms of mental strength.
Women are being harassed, raped, treated badly, not given their rights, not being vocal to what are they going through but these are the issues people should talk about and find solutions to these problems.
By standing up for equality, women have helped other women speak up and empowered them.
Women are always saying ‘we can do anything that men can do’ but men should be saying, ‘ we can do anything that women can do’ Gender equality is a human right to have a peaceful world but it always women who are facing the challenges all around the world. In many areas women are not given rights to take decisions for their own life or their future decisions they are just being informed about what is going to happen, The main reason many women leave and run as they don’t find any other solution except for that.
Women are mostly found in kitchens doing domestic work in their homes while for men it is embarrassing to cook or do anything because of their cultures. When women are living safe, fulfilled and productive lives, they can reach their full potential. contributing their skills to the workforce and can raise happier and healthier children. The most important part of empowerment is education and pursuing their career and being independent.
