World 3rd Largest Mosque to be built in Karachi!

Bahria Town, Karachi will see the construction of world’s third-largest mosque, behind Masjid-al-Haram and Masjid-e-Nabwi. The grand mosque will have the capacity for 800,000 worshippers.

Bahria Town shared the news with the Islamic world in an official statement on its website:

Masjid-al-Haram, Makkah and Masjid-e-Nabvi, Madina are the 1st and 2nd largest Masajid in the world. With respect to their sanctity, no masjid can be holier than these Holy Masajid. After these Holy Masajid, Insha’Allah the masjid being built in Bahria Town Karachi which will be the 3rd largest in the world.

The mosque will also house an international university, along with an Islamic cultural center, museum, and a research center.

Currently, Bahria Town Lahore has the world’s 7th largest mosque named Grand Jamia Masjid which can house 70,000 namazis.

It is also Pakistan’s largest mosque, followed by Faisal Masjid in Islamabad.
