The filmmakers released the first look of a revamped Chucky in the upcoming reboot of the classic 80’s film.
Child’s Play (1988) introduced the most famous evil doll, Chucky, a crude, hard-drinking misogynist who went on to appear in four theatrical sequels and two straight-to-DVD movies.
The new poster shows off the flame-haired, knife-wielding killer doll in all his flame-haired, knife-wielding “glory.” A trailer for the movie will be released on Thursday.

In Lars Klevberg’s modern take on the horror classic, the contemporary re-imagining follows Karen (Aubrey Plaza), a single mother who gifts her son Andy (Gabriel Bateman) a Buddi doll, unaware of its more sinister nature.
The cast also includes Beatrice Kitsos, Ty Consiglio and Brian Tyree Henry, while Mark Hamill will voice Chucky.
Child’s Play arrives in theatres on June 21, 2019.
