Renowned religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel on Thursday said there is nothing bad in artists hosting special transmission on television for the holy month of Ramazan.
“There is nothing wrong in hosting Ramazan transmission by actors and artists on television channels,” he said.
“Taking part in discussions about religion is the duty of every Muslim.”
Maulana Tariq Jameel, however, said that individuals should not engage in unnecessary discussions.
