Petrol station in Lahore caught paying fake money

I went to drop off my child at school around 7:00am. We stopped at a petrol station and gave the attendant Rs. 5,000. I got Rs. 2,000 and some hundred rupees. As there was a line of cars behind me, it took the attendant a while to bring me the change. Meanwhile, another attendant asked me to move my car. Anyway, I counted my change and sped off. Later in the day, I had to go buy medicines, and when I paid for my purchase, the cashier told me that I had handed him counterfeit notes!

Since the pharmacist knew me, he showed me how to spot a fake. I could not believe my eyes. The change I had gotten from the petrol station was a near perfect specimen.

I went back to the station and complained to the manager, who in return told me that it was my fault for not having checked earlier!

Later, I told a friend about what had happened and he told me that the same thing had happened to him as well.

I request the authorities concerned to look into the matter.
