Thyroid is the source of many of the functions that your body performs, through the hormones it produces.

Many people neglect the importance of this tiny gland as it produces your heart beat and slight effect in its hormone production can effect in a big way.

Most of it diseases are caused due to the hormonal imbalance, either over production or low production.

Thyroid diseases which include hyperthyroidism, when your body makes too much thyroid hormone, and hypothyroidism, when your body makes too little of the hormone, can make you feel restless or tired, and even lose or gain weight.

But one of the shocking things to know, as compared to men women tends to get this 10 times more than men. And it can further develop into cancer and other health problems.

Not a clear perspective is know, why we face imbalance or why such conditions occurs, is it genetic or  stress, nutritional deficiencies, or toxins in the environment.
