We never take sexual harassment seriously until it happens to one of us, it is NOT okay. It isn’t acceptable; still it is the most common issue which is talked about. Did you know? 93% of the women have experience sexual harassment? That’s A LOT and its disturbing and traumatizing for these women. Imagine they have to live with that fear for the rest of their life.
Just like that, an anonymous individual shared her experience of sexual harassment with me.
So, this girls skin was a major issue for her, she was having a skin allergy which lead to her skin being itchy and dry. Naturally, she decided to visit a skin specialist in order to get herself treated. When she went there, she was asked by the doctor that if she had any allergy on her arms and on her back and he would like to have a look. Little creeped out at first, ignoring the weird thoughts in her head, thinking it was a normal regime, she decided to let him see it. Moving on, his next question was to show him her stomach, further grossed out and reluctant, she sill showed it to him. To make it all worse, he had the audacity to ask her to let him examine her chest. I mean, who in the right mind would want to examine your intimate body parts for something which was on her face. It had no connection. Before she could even say anything, he lifted her shirt up and grabbed her chest and passed a comment that she had breast cancer. Disgusting.
It takes a lot of courage to talk about such traumatizing events.
What is this world coming to? When are people going to learn? Justice needs to be served. Doctors aren’t safe also? Where are we supposed to go? So many questions, but there’s only one answer, these criminals needs to be punished!
