Masked primary Students enter the schools

Students of primary schools who were not allowed to attend physical classes due to COVID-19 are allowed to attend schools now. It is the final phase of reopening educational institutions in the country.

However, Sindh Government is still reluctant to sending primary students back to school and doesn’t aim to allow them until the situation is improved. Sindh Health Minister Dr Azra Fazal Pechuho said that it is not a wise decision to take a chance with kids.

As the schools and universities opened earlier this month, the rate of spread of virus was recorded less than one percent. This acted as a sign of relief due to which authorities gave permission to open primary schools.

The schools are advised to ensure that the staff and pupils follow the standard SOPs. It is necessary to check the temperature of students before they enter the schools.

Schools are also advised to give important information about the virus and necessary precautions to the students.

Hand sanitizers, masks, and other necessary equipment is made available at the schools following the instructions from the authorities.

The resumption of of educational activities is compulsory to train the kids about the SOPs.
