When you really care about someone, their happiness matters more then yours. You don’t need to buy her expensive things or take her out to dinner every night or even every weekend. You don’t need to give her the world. She want the little things. If you make her feel that she’s your priority, then that’s all she cares about. She cares way more about that, than anything else. Why do people don’t realise that if you take care of things or people, they lasts forever. If you love someone tell them now before its too late. Taking care of someone and respecting them as your own family is the beat thing you can ever do to them. Love is not about materialistic things, in fact it’s about potential, its about feelings, care, respect, efforts, giving them time out of your busy schedule, no matter how busy you are. I have seen one sided efforts as well, where only one person is trying and trying and showing efforts and the other one just takes that person for granted. Don’t take your loved ones for granted because its really hard to find generous people in this world.
