Afghan President Ashraf Ghani arrived in Pakistan on Thursday for a two-day visit on the invitation of Prime Minister Imran Khan. Adviser to Prime Minister Imran Khan on Commerce, Textiles, Industries Production and Investment Abdul Razzaq Dawood received him at Nur Khan airbase.
The Afghan president will be accompanied by a high-level delegation including ministers, advisers, senior officials and businessmen.
‘Pakistan wants peace, prosperity in Afghanistan’
During the visit, President Arif Alvi will hold a meeting with President Ghani while Prime Minister Imran Khan will hold delegation-level talks.
“The people of Pakistan and Afghanistan are bound by fraternal ties reinforced by historical, religious, linguistic and cultural affinities,” said Foreign Office spokesperson in a statement.
