Ali Sadpara has earned a feat for himself becoming the first Pakistani to have climbed 7 peaks over 8000 metres high in the world.
Born in Sadpara village near the town of Skardu, Mohammad Ali Sadpara, 43, climbed the Makalu peak in Nepal on May 24. Makalu is an isolated peak whose shape is a four-sided pyramid. It is the fifth highest mountain in the world which is 8,485 metres (27,838 ft) high.
It is located in the Mahalangur Himalayas 19 km (12 mi) southeast of Mount Everest, on the border between Nepal and Tibet Autonomous Region, China.
