Barack Obama’s Comments On The Importance Of Traveling

Barack Obama former President of United States of America is a global personality and a major source of influence for many people around the world.

And, If he ask you to drop your books and travel around the world, then that’s what you should be doing.

He’s been around the world, have met people from different countries, culture, explored history and tried many kinds of food.

But, The former president shared his opinion, while speaking at the World Travel and Tourism Council Global Summit in Seville, Spain, He told that he see travel as an opportunity to bring together people.

He quoted:

” I believe in bringing people together instead of separating them out as us and them … Travel also reminds us of what we share and what we have in common and what things we share with each other. If you are wandering through a small village in Kenya and you see a mother and child playing and laughing, then you realize it’s not that much different than a mother and child in Hawaii or Virginia.”
“There is something spectacular about seeing a new place, being exposed to new ideas and experiencing a new culture. Traveling makes you grow.”

Traveling brings awareness, knowledge and exposure to the world you have been missing out. It gives an opportunity to connect with strangers and to create new social circle and opportunities for a person.

We tend to be caught up in our daily lives so much and never get chance to take a step back and take a deep breath, it brings you out of your comfort zone for once and makes you happy.

So try to take sometime off from your daily routine and add some adventure to your life.
