Do we have a right to criticize Esra Bilgic ?

Esra Bilgic is a Turkish actress who rose to fame for portraying the role of Halime Hatun in the Turkish historical adventure television series Diriliş: Ertuğrul from 2014 to 2018. Esra has also reprented a number of brands in Pakistan for which a few celebrities especially Yasir Hussain was not happy about. According to him Pakistani talent should be given a chance.

Racently Esra featured in shoot of the famous lingerie brand Victoria Secret foe which Pakistanis started bashing her. This is not the first time Bilgiç has had to face unwarranted criticism. Last year, after months of incessant moral policing on her personal photographs, ranging from comments about her dressing to how she must carry herself with dignity and respect.

She gave a polite shut-up call to users shaming her. “Let me give you a little advice: Don’t follow me, thank you,” she wrote. But, alas, it appears her Pakistani fans still have a lot to learn.

The fans were having a thought that Esra Bilgic hasn’t responded to any comment yet criticizing her bold dressing. It was like everyone was appreciating her for showing extra patience towards trolling. However, we know that everything has certain limits and when it comes to personal attacks, it’s totally unbearable.

According to the details, a fan from Pakistan commented on one of Esra Bilgic’s pictures. He said, “Please don’t wear such dresses Halima Baji, not good!”

We as a nation need to be more empathetic and respect everyone for their choices, lets not be judgmental.
