“Farzi” which means “Fake” in English, it is the new amazon prime series starring Bollywood’s famous star Shahid Kapoor alongside Kay Kay Menon and Vijay Sethupathi. Farzi is basically an eight episode season. it was released on 10th of February, 2023 only on Amazon. It is a crime, thriller plus comedy season, which is directed by Krishna DK and Raj Nidimoru. Shahid Kapoor basically portrays an image of a local artist who starts an illegal secret business of making ‘Fake’ aka “Farzi’ indian notes in short business of Counterfeiting. But his secret counterfeit will not remain a secret for a long time. Farzi is trending on top on Amazon Prime as people are really appreciating the story line of the series, specially the acting skills of Shahid Kapoor and in fact all other actors as well. they all have outdone themselves in the series. This series every single episode is super engaging that it doesn’t feel like forwarding any scene of each episode.
The director has done an amazing job. I myself have binge watched this season, it is so addictive. Barring the length and slow pacing at times, the show is a good watch this weekend. I would really suggest you all to watch this season as its a must watch!
