After Olympus Gerard Butler is ready to save the day again, so get ready to see an other action packed movie.
Thursday night, Lionsgate debuted the second trailer for their upcoming threequel, which carries on the story line from Olympus Has Fallen and London Has Fallen.
Movie is director by Ric Roman Waugh and a screenplay by Robert Mark Kamen and Matt Cook & Ric Roman Waugh, the film stars Morgan Freeman, Jada Pinkett Smith, Lance Reddick, Tim Blake Nelson, Piper Perabo, with Nick Nolte, and Danny Huston and main star Gerard Butler.

The story follows up with an assassination attempt on the U.S President played by Morgan Freeman, his trusted Secret Service Agent Gerard Butler, who is wrongfully accused and taken into custody. After escaping from capture, he becomes a man on the run and must evade his own agency and outsmart the FBI in order to find the real threat to the President. Despite all this he’s still trying to save his country from danger.
While giving interview to a reporter Gerard Butler said “It’s a chance to be involved with some more serious drama, some more subtle performance, and take a more inward journey amidst all the craziness and the action, It was great to examine these characters and make it very moving and profound and touching and relatable. I think this movie is very relatable without having to blow up the White House and Big Ben.”
Angel Has Fallen will be released in theaters on August 23rd.
