Here’s to a new beginning and a great, greener way to start 2022!

An MOU signing ceremony between PINE Global and SEED Ventures was held at the PINE Global office in Karachi on Friday 31st December 2021. This MOU has been signed to work on programs and initiatives that further the cause of entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship in Pakistan. 

Shaista Ayesha, CEO of SEED Ventures, in her message, said that she strongly believes that by working together and through our collective experience, we will be able to create a long-lasting social impact.

SEED Ventures (Social, Entrepreneurship, and Equity Development) was established in 2009. We are social impact ecosystem developers and impact investors. Our work is dedicated to nurturing an ecosystem where social entrepreneurs can thrive and where the social impact of traditional entrepreneurship can be enhanced and scaled.

Erum Masood, Founder, and CEO of PINE Global said she is extremely happy that SEED and PINE have collaborated. Ms. Masood further mentioned that the two CEOs have been friends for a long time and have shared the same vision of empowering the youth and women to grow their entrepreneurial skills. 

Peoples Incubation New Enterprise (PINE) objective is to focus on expanding access to start-ups and e-commerce trade outcomes by providing different but aligned, capabilities to help MSMEs emerge into more expansive and sustainable enterprises, providing economic benefits to the enterprises and the economies in which they operate. 

The proposed mission of the incubator is to stimulate the establishment and growth of technology, education, and financial services, based start-ups, and other compatible businesses. By fulfilling this mission, PINE shall contribute to job creation and provide for enhanced economic health to the region

Both PINE and SEED, support the eco-environmental (go–green) philosophy and the titles say this out loud and clear.
