Italy becomes 1st EU country to join China’s ‘G7 Initiative’

BEIJING: Italy has now become European Union first country to join China’s massive belt and road initiative. This attempt of Italy has clearly drawn a sign of concern for the United States and European allies.

Italy’s Di Maio tries to reassure Washington after becoming first EU country to join China’s massive Belt and Road initiative.

The deals are mostly focused on agricultural, finance and energy sectors, and opened up new access to the Chinese market for major Italian energy and engineering firms.
