The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Pakistan rose to 72,560 on Monday after new infections were confirmed in the country.
The province-wise break up of the total number of cases as of 9:00am, June 1, is as follows:

• Islamabad Capital Territory: 2,589

Deaths: 1,543
• Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 473
