Kashmir issue will now be taken to the International Court of Justice.

We have decided to take Kashmir case to the International Court of Justice.” Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi told ARY News on Tuesday. He further said, “The decision was taken after considering all legal aspects.”

It’s been so long since the people of Occupied Kashmir are suffering from violence caused by the savage Indian Army. Pakistan has always supported Kashmiris and would go to any lengths to fight for their rights.

A cabinet meeting was held recently, after which the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan confirmed to reporters about the decision. She also said that the lawyers of international repute would be asked to pursue the case on behalf of Pakistan.

A case regarding the brutalities of Indian Army on innocent Kashmiris will be put forward in the ICJ and the decision of the court would be an advisory only. Hence, we hope the ICJ to solve the dispute between India and Pakistan over the Occupied Kashmir and make it a free state.
