Royal family and fashion fans always take style inspo from the wives of the next generation royals. They also look up to each other when it comes to beauty regime.
We have all seen Kate and her flawless bouncy blow dry’s and wondered how we can achieve this look. Similarly, Meghan Markle’s glowing bridal makeup look was like an inspiration to us for our no-makeup-makeup beauty looks as she confidently and radiantly walked down the aisle. But how can we ever forget Princess Diana? From her signature eyeliner to pixie cuts we can’t forget her.
The nail shades ladies of British royal family turned to for their manicures are like a source of beauty inspiration for all. When Kate Middleton and Prince William announced their engagement in Nov 2010, Kate had a clear nail polish on her nails, her fingers stunned with sapphire and diamond ring. Ever since then we have seen her in nude shade, long before she became a royal.
Her soft nude wedding day manicure was achieved through a mixture of two shades:
- Bourjois Rose Lounge and
- Essie’s 423 Allure
She is well-known for her soft clear nail polish and is apparently a fan of the Queen’s favorite soft shade. The duchess is also spotted with a pale pink shade which is closer to Essie’s ballet slippers. Not just that the Duchess likes to keep her nails clean, short and perfectly buffed. She lets her engagement ring do all the talking.
When Meghan got married she mixed and got a couple of nail polish shades. Her pedicure was super simple with CND Shellac in Cashmere wrap. When Meghan Markle was at Fashion Awards 2018 she had nude and blush-toned polishes with nails in a chic noir shade. Unlike the Duchess of Cambridge and Queen, Duchess of Sussex is more titled towards an opaque shade. The late Princess Diana was bold and loved fiery red nails which was her iconic move and may have stirred controversy at that time.
