This is definetly a milestone achieved by the KP Government. As it has made historic development by providing health coverages to all its provincial residents.
Recently the Premier of Pakistan (Prime Minister) Imran Khan congratulated Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for becoming the ‘first province with universal health coverage.’
“Congratulations to K-P govt for making K-P the first province in Pakistan with Universal Health Coverage for all KP-domiciled citizens,”
the premier said in a Twitter post. He added, “40,000,000 residents covered with free health insurance. Free treatment up to Rs1,000,000 per family per year in over 400 govt/private hospitals across Pak.”
