National University of Technology (NUT) inaugurated in Islamabad!

The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has inaugurated the National University of Technology (NUTECH) in Islamabad. The NUTECH is a public sector university which is run by a department of Pakistan Army called the Frontier Works Organization (FWO).

The Army Chief of Pakistan during the launching ceremony appreciated the hard work of the NUTECH management to successfully launch the university in a short span of two years. He appreciated the unique concept of the university and advised the management to maintain high standards of education at the institute.

COAS assured that the university will receive full support from the Pakistan Army, in building its main campus on the outskirts of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. These campuses will accommodate 30 to 50 thousand students at the same time. He lauded the effective linkages between university and industry, which will help to produce tech leaders and skilled workforce for the economic development of Pakistan.
