The untimely demise of senior anchor and journalist Mr Arshad Sharif has left the entire nation in a state of shock and trauma. He embraced martyrdom after an accident in the outskirts of Kenya’s Nairobi city which was confirmed by the Kenya police. They have opened an investigation into the accident which likely involved a gun attack. May his soul rest in peace and God grant him the highest place on Jannat.
Soon after this news broke out it led an air of depression and chaos, amid which it was known that Arshad Sharif had signed a contract with BOL media group which was not officially announced due to security reasons.
After a copy of his contract was leaked on twitter BOL confirmed the news and annunciated that he had joined the media group as a senior team member. which was to be announced soon but who knew what the future had in store.
Mr. Shoaib Ahmed Shaikh, CEO of BOL Network also sent his condolences and confirmed his association with the media group, we really hope that they along with other media channels stand by together to fight for justice on this untimely and brutal incident.
