Everyone’s favourite and former Pakistan cricket team captain Shahid Afridi confirms in a recent interview that his daughter twill tie the knot with another cricket player, a young bowler of the team Shaheen Afridi. Few months ago, there was n ongoing rumour about the following but there was no confirmed news. It has been now officially said by Shahid Afridi himself. Earlier, he told the public that if its better for both the families than they ll proceed. In a recent interview with a private channel, Shahid was asked about the engagement of his daughter with star pacer Shaheen, to which he replied that if God’s willing, the young bowler will be his son-in-law in the future.
The cricket star shared that Shaheen had no relationship with his daughter before this development.
“We Afridis have eight tribes, Shaheen and we belong to different tribes,” the former captain noted.
In the interview he also mentioned that Shaheens father wanted both the families too have a strong relationship since the part 2 years and wanted to convert this bond into family.
Shahid said that his daughter wants to become a doctor and at present, it is not decided whether she will pursue further education in Pakistan or England.
Shaheen’s father Ayaz Khan had earlier spoken to the media and confirmed that both families have longstanding relations and that Shahid’s family has agreed to the proposal.
