The “Damsel in Distress” Dilemma.

Have you ever come across someone that makes it seem like all the burden of the world is on their shoulders?

Always acting clueless, naive, making silly remarks and acting like they are the victim is every situation?

This my friends is the “Damsel in Distress Dilemma”, or what I like to call the Triple D.

Such people are usually seeking for attention and validation from those around and pretend to showcase that life is indeed tough.

Never have I ever seen someone behaving that way actually resolve their problems, infact, their negativity tends to impact those around them.

It is understandable that life is full of challenges, plus I am not trying to plaster “toxic positivity” on anyone. However, making efforts towards improving your situation depends on the person itself. You cannot blame or hold others accountable for things that you solely can resolve.

My suggestion? Get that warrior spirit pumping in your veins honey and the world be under your feet. After all, we are born fighters!

Until next time.
