TikTok, a very famous video-sharing app that is popular around the globe, has been unbanned by Pakistan and this decision has been welcomed by China.
On Tuesday, the Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Zhao Lijian said in a regular press briefing that the government of China always asks the overseas Chinese enterprises to comply with local laws, customs, and religious traditions.
He also said that the officials are glad to know that the relevant parties have handled the issue properly and with a friendly consultation.
Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) kept the video-sharing platform banned for 10 days and have lifted the ban on certain conditions that have been agreed by the relevant authorities from the platform.
The main concerns of PTA regarding TikTok are the sharing of vulgar content and such material that is abuse of societal norms. TikTok also appreciated the decision of PTA to unblock the app in Pakistan.
