Priyanka Chopra was bashed severely in a reaction of her pro-war tweet between Pakistan and India. She was criticized by a Pakistani , Ayesha Malik during Beauty Con Panel talk in Los Angeles. Ayesha called her a ‘hypocrite‘ for favoring and promoting war between the two nations, as Priyanka being a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador of Peace.
Pakistani fans and supporters sought her removal as a Peace Ambassador including Pakistan’s Federal Minister Shireen Mazari who wrote a letter to UN that demands Priyanka’s dismissal from her role.

However, it seems like the voices that were raised against her were meaningless to the UNICEF as it backed Priyanka Chopra. The United Nation’s spokesperson stated ” When UNICEF Goodwill Ambassadors speak in their personal capacity, they retain the right to speak about issues that interest or concern them.” Furthermore, he added “Their personal opinions, reactions and actions do not reflect those of UNICEF. When they speak on behalf of the UNICEF, we expect them to adhere the policies by UNICEF.”
Isn’t their statement defines the peak of biasness?
