Having followers is a wonderful thing, since crowds’ unbridled love and respect for others’ abilities has spawned entire industries’ worth of celebrities. Unfortunately, there are other risks associated with being a well-known celebrity, particularly when your presence has such an impact on people that they go beyond the bounds of human decency. Many celebrities have been stalked, publicly humiliated, and even murdered. During the taping of WWE’s flagship show, ‘Raw,’ Seth Rollins was recently attacked by a fan on live television. Rollins was on the runway heading to the wrestling ring when he was tackled to the ground by a spectator who had seemingly hopped over the barricade. Before security officers intervened and pulled the fan off Rollins, the two were seen rolling around. The incident caught Rollins off guard, and he ended up with a swollen lip. The assailant in question was a 24-year-old wrestling fan who was arrested and charged with assault right away. That’s what you get when you watch live television!
