Women Can Do Everything

“Women can accomplish everything and anything men can do,” was a phrase I heard over and over as a child, and it became my attitude. Hearing that, sure, as a woman, I can accomplish anything a man can do professionally gave me wings and bravery.

These statements rang true and aggressively spurred me through several situations where I was unsure if I could reach to the next level since I was a woman. “If they can do it, so can we!” I’d tell myself this and cheerfully plough onward. Women are capable of doing anything that males are capable of, and they can do it better. They can also do a lot of things that males can’t. However, their work is not valued as highly as men’s, despite the fact that they make significant sacrifices for their families and careers. “A woman’s place is in the home,” it is said. What are your thoughts?
Despite the fact that women are just as capable as men, their labour is undervalued in comparison to men’s, despite their numerous sacrifices. Because of the similar physique to that of a man and the ability to multitask, I disagree that a woman’s potential is in the house. To begin with, a male and female have the same human body. To put it another way, neither party’s bodily composition is different. A female has all of the organs and main bodily parts that a guy requires to survive. Furthermore, it is self-evident that a woman should be given the opportunity to utilise her abilities and potentials because she can think, analyse, and gather knowledge in the same manner as the opposing gender. The weight of 250kg was lifted by both sexe in the recent Guinness Book of Records for the world’s strongest man and woman. This further shown that if women are given the same amount of attention as males, they will perform equally well.

Another point to consider is the higher level of the female gender to multitask and perform more difficult jobs. Female species have the ability to carry out various tasks and duty simultaneously. However, these attributes are absent in males, this is due to the fact that they have a small capacity to focus on various things at a time. Although juggling activities at home is good, but if they are channelled to the body of knowledge it would serve for a greater good. For instance, in Nigeria the National Assembly increased the ratio of women in the upper house and it was proven by the National Bureau of Statistics that the performance of the upper house increased by 30%. In conclusion, some school of thoughts are of the opinion that women are meant to be at home. I believe that the anatomy similarities in both gender and the characteristics of women to juggle task proves that a woman is meant for more.
